If you are using BetteR20, you're using Roll20, VTTes/R20es, Tampermonkey and BetteR20, and sometimes things will occur that create problems in your gaming experience that you'll want to troubleshoot and report to the devs to get fixed.

Part of using 5eTools and by extension BetteR20; is the understanding that you're not going to be reporting on public posts, that you're having an issue, or to other discord servers.

BASIC TESTING PROCESS

1️⃣ Check to see if you are using a supported browser
MINIMUM REQUIRED BROWSERS:
Chrome : 84+
Firefox : 78+
LATEST VERSION BROWSERS:
Chrome : 84.0.4147.105
Firefox : 79.0.0

KNOWN PROBLEMS WITH BROWSER VERSIONS:
Chrome:
Brave; Avast; Edge are all offshoots of the base build for Chromium - they may work, but ... if you have issues, you will need to check against a current release of the main browser. If the issue does not persist on the current release of official Chrome... then you have found why they are not officially supported.
Firefox:
WaterFox is not supported. It runs on a dated branch of Firefox build
ESR release is also, NOT supported, it runs on version 60, which is lower than the minimum required version for Firefox. Consider switching to the default branch of Firefox.

if you are not, update your browser and then close and restart.

2️⃣ Then confirm you are using the current supported product version

5eTools v1.108.6
Plutoniumv1.5.0 | Rivet v0.1.3
BetteR20 v1.18.4 | R20ES v1.15.27(8)
5eCrawler v1.6.3
Homebrew v1.1.0

if you are not, update your browser and then close and restart it.

3️⃣ Refresh the page by doing a ctrl + F5. Yes. It's simple, easy and resolves most of the issues.

4️⃣ Use both Chrome and Firefox (and their private/incognito modes) to see if the problem is unique to a single browser's settings.

5️⃣ If the problem exists between browsers, then it's likely, not just a local issue. Make sure you don't keep entering into the same game. Make sure your efforts to see what is happening include attempting to generate the error other games (even if you have to create a game to test.)

6️⃣ If the issue appears in only one browser, or even only on one computer (if you have more than one computer to test upon). You'll want to do the following.
👉 AGRESSIVELY Empty Cache:
WARNING: THIS WILL DELETE YOUR PASSWORD AND USERNAME FROM THE BROWSER,
BUT NOT THE ROLL20 SITE, IF YOU'VE LET THE BROWSER REMEMBER YOUR USERNAME/PASSWORD.
