VTTes/R20es v1.15.15

PLEASE NOTE: Roll20 Enhancement Suite (aka VTT es/ R20es), is not part of BetteR20 or 5eTools. However; as BetteR20 requires VTT es/R20es, this Wiki covers its content to (HOPEFULLY) prevent BetteR20 users from requesting help on BetteR20 issues on the VTTes/R20es Discord server or other platforms (Reddit/Roll20.net Forum, etc).

What is R20 es?

The VTT Enhancement Suite (aka VTT es and R20es) is according to its creator An unofficial quality of life and workflow extension for Roll20.

In reality its a work of passion and no small amount of effort, and genius made by a single person, Stormy (Justas Dabrila) its an extension written in javascript, and is an opensource project under GPL-3.0.

How do I install it?

See the Installation Guide for VTTes/R20es.

How do I update it?

The extension updates itself. Its current version is v1.15.15.

If you do not have that version you should check your browser version and then look at the VTTes/R20es Installation guide.

Alternately, you can then uninstall and then re-install the extension to be ensure you are the current/highest release level.

What can it do?

How do I configure <x>?

Thru the R20es Config menu, click this link for more details, but in brief. In the settings tab inside Roll20, there is a button labeled R20es Config, which will open a dialog box. Clicking on a feature name will make the right-hand pane update with specific feature configurations about the feature chosen.

My animated background or Audio Libre isn't working!

In general, that is because you likely have used a non-direct link, and most often a youtube video (in the case of videos/Animated Backgrounds) or source that streams content such as Soundcloud or Spotify (in the case of Libre Audio).

A direct link to file most often means a file's name is listed explicitly in the URL. eg. (http://domain.net/directory/Filename.extension (where the .extension is something akin to .mp3, .mp4, .ogg, or any of a number of support file types.

Please see the feature's respective link to get more clarification.

I get an "uh-oh" message when it loads! What do I do?

How to report an issue?

Well, first you'll need to go through the troubleshooting guide to confirm its a not an issue with something other than VTTes.

How do I help support VTT es?

Hey! Even if all you do it read this, you're better than most.

Most people just say ah cool, free stuff. Some even get upset that the free stuff doesn't work from time to time. Even getting upset with the developer.

YOU, however, are at least considering saying - hey, Stormy. This is really cool. I can spare the cost of cup of coffee to say "Thanks".

Thanks Stormy! โ˜•.
